PIPS have now been fundraising for 2 years in order to raise money to create a new centre of excellence. PIPS are currently based at 187 Duncairn Gardens and were delighted when the NIHE very generously allocated them the use of the adjacent property at 189 Duncairn Gardens. Plans for the Centre of Excellence involve the complete refurbishment and knock-through of both buildings. Thanks to the hard work and efforts of some very dedicated fundraisers and supporters, PIPS have now raised more than half of the £350,000 required to complete the work. As such, it has been arranged for work to begin on 6th May 08. Due to the extensive type of work to be completed PIPS is to be be situated at an alternative address for a minimum period of 12 months however they were fortunate enough to find a property for rent just several houses away at 193 Duncairn Gardens. It is hoped that relocating to somewhere so close by will cause a minimum amount of problems or stress for PIPS current and future service users.
